What is an AirSafe Receiver Hitch?
An AirSafe Receiver Hitch is a specialized towing hitch that fits into your vehicle’s receiver tube and uses an integrated air suspension system to reduce bounce, shock, and strain while towing.
How does the air suspension work in a receiver hitch?
Instead of transferring every bump and jolt directly between the tow vehicle and trailer, the AirHitch Technology system cushions the connection with an airbag. This absorbs vertical shock and fore/aft jerking, creating a smoother, more controlled tow.

Can I install an AirSafe Receiver Hitch myself?
The AirSafe hitch is very easy to install and can be done yourself in about 30 minutes. For those that don’t want to tackle the install, we strongly recommend having a certified installer at one of our dealers do your installation
How much do I torque the bolts when adding the bracket to the hitch body?
No greater than 75 ft lbs.
Does it change my towing height?
AirSafe Receiver Hitches are adjustable to ensure your trailer remains level. Some models may add slight height differences, but these can usually be corrected with standard hitch adjustments.
What maintenance is required?
Minimal. Periodically inspect the hitch components, pins, and receiver for normal wear.
